Registration & Orientation Night

Minnesota Swimming Registration 2010
All swimmers must be members of Minnesota Swimming of Minnesota
Masters Swimming. USA Swimming registration forms are available on the pool deck. This registration is ONLY required for those interested in competing at Minnesota Swimming sanctioned swim meets.

Practice Schedule
Session 1:
Age Group & Masters:
Mon-Thurs: 6:30-9pm
Saturday: 7-8:30am
Minnies:
Mon-Thurs: 6:30-8:15pm
Saturday: 8:00-9:30am

Session 2:
Morning practice for age group and adults will start at 7:30 am with two hours of swimming and one hour of dryland Monday-Thrusday. Evening practice will start at 3:30 pm with two hours of swimming and one hour of dryland for all 3 groups (age group, adults, and minnies) Monday-Thursday. Friday will be fun activity day starting at 9 am for all groups. We will be taking day trips hiking up the north shore, Ely’s Peak, Park Point, Wisconsin Point, tubing on the Namekagon River, surfing in Lake Superior, rock climbing, and a list of other activities.

North Shore Swim Club was founded in 1997 as a year round swim program and non-profit member of the United States Swimming Association.

The club consists of school-aged, high school, college and adult swimmers from Duluth, Superior, Proctor, Cloquet, Hermantown and the surrounding region.
The mission of NSSC is to teach life values to its members by using swimming as it’s vehicle. Some of these life skills include athleticism, equality, honesty & reaching personal potential through goal setting. Our USA Certified Coaching Staff emphasizes these values along with sportsmanship, leadership, friendship,
self-discipline and motivation.

Pre-requisites
› Ages 6 & up are encouraged to participate
› Swimmers must be able to swim one length
(25 yards) of the pool

Experienced swimmers 12 & older or
coaches approval
Masters/Seniors/College Students
18 & older; very competitive experienced swimmers; college athletes
