The RSOP Fitness Center contains the latest cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Highly trained staff are available to educate you on how to use the equipment effectively. For individualized instruction, consider working with a personal trainer.

Group Fitness
The group fitness program is for both the UMD and surrounding community. There is most likely a class or two that fits your fitness level and interests. All of our instructors are nationally certified and highly motivated.
Meet: SpHC (Gold room) unless indicated otherwise. Passes can be purchased in SpHC 153.
Semester Pricing
$50 Full-Time Students and Part-Time Students w/ a Facility Pass
$60 Part-Time Students w/o Facility Pass
$60 Faculty & Staff w/ a Facility Pass
$65 Faculty & Staff w/o a Facility Pass
$125 Others including dependents
No Refunds. $5 fee for lost passes.

Personal Training
Whether you want to train for health improve- ment, sport specific activities, body fat loss, or just want to feel better, let our trainers help you. Call today for a free consultation. A typical per- sonal training session may include:
• 10-minute warm-up on stationary bike • 30-minute specific body-toning workout with weights • 10 minute cool down and stretch. Your session could conclude with a 10-20 minute conversation about your personal nutrition plan. Your certified trainer will assure that your workouts are done with your personal goals in mind. Cost: $20/session for Facility Pass holders ($30 for all others - community welcome!) Three session minimum.

Massage
Looking for a little relief from the stress of the day. Call now to set up a massage appointment. Therapists are nationally certified and highly skilled. All welcome!
$30 for 30 minutes $60 for 60 minutes ($45 UMD Students) $90 for 90 minutes

Small Group kinesis Training
Forty minute training on speciality
Kinesis training machines. A time efficient, total body workout designed to develop posture, muscular strength and movement skill and efficiency. Chose from one or more of the following 12-week sessions (no classes spring break week).
-Session I: Mondays, 10-10:40am
-Session II: Wednesdays, 8-8:45am
-Session III: Thursdays, Noon-12:40pm

Cost: $100 UMD Students/$120 Facility Pass Holder/$150 Other

Employee Only Fitness Class
Come join us for a Functional Fitness
class designed specifically for employees only. This is a beginner/intermediate class that will provide cardio, strength and flexibility training. Limited to the first 35 registrants. Required to bring your own yoga mat.
January 28-May 9
Tuesdays and Thursday, 12:00 noon

Cost: $50

Valentine’s PartnerYoga 201013
A wonderful event for all UMD students
and staff, bring a partner and share in a relaxing hour where you will learn and practice the art of yoga. This has been a very popular event, so register early!
Thursday, Feburary 13, 7-8pm
Cost: $1 per person
Meet: Gold Room, 96 SpHC

Spring Break Blast 201014
This is a two-week program with two
different fitness classes offered each day to help you get moving and get in shape. This is a great way to kick off an active and healthy spring break!
Monday, March 3 - Friday, Febuary 14
Cost: $15, for all including group fitness pass holders. Cost includes t-shirt.

Neta Collegiate Fit Fest
A weekend designed for those interested
in starting a career in the fitness industry or for those looking for continuing education. NETA’s expert trainers will deliver group fitness, personal training and yoga certification workshops (exams included). For those already certified, HITT and Group Strength Training workshops will also be offered. All registration is done through NETA. Please consult netafit.org for specific dates, times and pricing. College students will receive a $50 discount by registering by phone. Open to community members.

Spring Into Shape 5K Trail Run
Everyone is welcome to come and join in
for the annual Spring Into Shape 5k trail run. Come run or walk through Bagley Nature Area and the UMD Campus, all ages are welcome to parcipate in this event.
Saturday, April 26, 10 am
Cost: $12 UMD Students/$15 Others
Register by: Monday, April 21 at 3pm
for guaranteed t-shirt.
Race day registration is welcome at the
Bagley Classroom in Bagley Nature Area.
