The RSOP Fitness Center contains the latest cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Highly trained staff are available to educate you on how to use the equipment effectively. For individualized instruction, consider working with a personal trainer.
Summer Group Fitness
The group fitness program is for both UMD folks and community. Summer Classes run June 8 through August 7. All of our instructors are nationally certified and highly motivated. A Group Fitness Pass is required for participation. Passes can be purchased in SpHC 153.
$40 Students & UMD Facility Pass Holders $60 Community Members & Non-Pass Holders No Refunds. $5 fee for lost passes.

• 10-minute warm-up on stationary bike • 30-minute specific body-toning workout with weights • 10 minute cool down and stretch. Your session could conclude with a 10-20 minute conversation about your personal nutrition plan. Your certified trainer will assure that your workouts are done with your personal goals in mind. Come join us for a Functional Fitness
class designed specifically for employees
only. This is a beginner/intermediate
class that will provide cardio, strength
and flexibility training. Limited to the first

EMPLOYEE GROUP STRENGTH EXPRESS
Open to employees who are covered by
the UPlan Medical Program (spouses
and partners are not eligible). Attend 13
of 16 small group strength classes led by
a certified personal trainer, complete a
pre- and post-course fitness assessment,
and the $199 cost of the course will be
reimbursed. One lifetime reimbursement.
Class will consist of strength and
cardiovascular interval circuits as well
as full body strength and endurance, core
training, and flexibility.

A weekend designed for those interested
in starting a career in the fitness industry
or for those looking for continuing
education. NETA ’s expert trainers will
deliver group fitness, personal training
and yoga certification workshops
(exams included). For those already
certified, HITT and Group Strength
Training workshops will also be offered.
