Our youth programs offer physically stimulating activities and outdoor
adventures in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Our instructors
are highly skilled and enthusiastic. Our facilities and equipment
are sate-of-the -art. These programs are perfect for families, individuals,
parties and organized groups of kids of all ages.

Fun & Adventure Day Camp
This camp
will provide a variety of activities
to
stimulate the mind, body, and spirit. These activities include
Indoor Rock Climbing, Swimming, Canoeing, Arts and Crafts, Nature
Adventures, Fishing, Non-competitive Team Sports, Team Building
Games, Scuba in the Pool plus much more. Camp is a great
chance for kids looking for adventure and fun. Discovers have
completed 1st or 2nd grade, Explorers have completed 3rd or 4th
grade,Adventurers have completed 5th or 6th grade. Day camp
meets from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday during the summer months.
Discovers: June 16-20, July 14-18
Explorers: June 23-27, July 21-25
Adventurers: July 28-August 1
Cost: $150 per camper
$290 for 2 campers registering together

Outdoor Adventures
We offer a variety of paddling and climbing adventures such as sea
kayaking on Lake Superior, whitewater kayaking and canoeing on
the St. Louis River and rock climbing on area rock outcroppings.
These activities are especially rewarding for camps, schools,
community organizations, churches or foreign exchange programs.
All participants learn about appropriate risk-taking, trust, teamwork,
and building self-esteem.
Group size Cost Time
Sea Kayaking: 6-12 people, $35/person for 4hrs
Climbing (indoor): 6-15 people, $160/group, 2hrs
Climbing (outdoor): 8-12 people, $40/person 3hrs, $70/person 6hrs
Whitewater Paddling: 6-12 people, $40/person for 4hrs
Climbing Birthday Parties
Great fun for kids ages 7 and up! Parties include private use of
the
climbing wall, instruction, equipment, treats hidden on the wall
for
climbers to find and a free climbing session pass for the birthday
person.
$85 per hour per group for 1, 1.5 or 2 hour time blocks.
Maxuim group size is 12.
Swim Lessons
We are a proud sponsor of the American Red Cross Toddler,
Pre-school, Youth “Learn to Swim” aquatics program. Swim lessons
are open to anyone and everyone. Our swim lessons are taught
by outstanding, qualified instructors who put learning, safety, and
individualized instruction first. Private lessons are available by

All sessions include 8 lessons for a price of $39

Open Swim
Everybody is welcome!! Bring the whole family... an excellent time
to play! Flotation aids and pool toys are allowed in the shallow
end
of pool with parent in water. Participants must be at least 6 years
old, over 4 feet tall, or accompanied by an adult at all times.

Competitive Swimming
The mission of North Shore Swim Club is to teach life values to its
members by using swimming as it’s vehicle. Some of these life skills
include athleticism, equality, honesty, and reaching personal
potential through goal setting. Our USA Certified coaching staff
emphasizes these values along with sportsmanship, leadership,
friendship, self-discipline and motivation.
Summer Swim Season

Scuba
The PADI Seal “Kids Can Scuba” Program. Join UMD RSOP &
Innerspace Scuba Center in this exciting program for youth (ages
8-12) and their parent/guardian(s). That’s right...parents/guardians
are welcome, (but not required) to join in the fun!! Youth divers
will
complete new “aqua missions” each pool session, with
an emphasis
on fun, safety and learning basic scuba skills. All students will
be
scuba diving every session! Sessions begin Fall 2008.
